The chamber is available to members for information, research and general statistical data that can help answer
    many business questions.

The Chamber communicates business and civic issues and concerns to local, state and Federal governmental
    agencies while helping our members understand the legislative process.

The Chamber encourages its members to do business with other member businesses through its Business
    Directory.

The Chamber promotes member businesses by referring any inquiries by residents and visitors to those
    businesses that have chosen to invest in the Chamber by becoming members.

Becoming active in the Chamber provides a networking path for making  valuable business and professional
    contacts.

The Chamber recognizes that members today expect more direct, tangible benefits of membership- - ones that
    can translate directly into dollars saved.

    The Chamber is working to provide such benefits and the pages which follow

In working towards these goals, the Chamber involves itself in such issues as tourism, education, environment, law, transportation, economic development and planning, government affairs, human resources and public relations.

The Chamber is more than 600 members strong today. These members are all volunteers -- men and women from businesses, industry, organizations and the professions who are concerned with the socio-economic climate of this community. They share the belief that the community can thrive through the free enterprise system. It is through the participation and involvement of these members and their representatives that Chamber programs are carried out.

The Chamber is run by its members. They elect a Board of Directors that determines policies and sets goals. Members of the Chamber can take an active role in its activities by becoming involved in the committees that exist to fulfill the Chamber's many goals.

The Chamber's day-to-day business operations are handled by a professional, qualified staff, lead by an Executive Director. They are available to help members with their business needs.
