The Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce's Seafood Festival Committee is elated to announce that Eastern Shore Auto Body and Customizing is helping the chamber present the 2008 Seafood Festival with The Marshall Tucker Band in concert to celebrate the event's 40th anniversary.

The Southern rock hitmakers have earned seven gold and three platinum albums, and their music has been featured on the soundtracks of such movies as "Smokey and the Bandit" and "Blow," starring Johnny Depp.

In addition to The Marshall Tucker Band concert admission, this year's $40 ticket price will give you the usual all-you-can-eat seafood extravaganza, including oyster fritters, steamed clams, fried fish and other Seafood Festival favorites.

Chamber members, keep an eye on your mail for information about ticket sales. Any tickets remaining after the sale to chamber members will go on sale to the general public starting Feb. 1. Come celebrate 40 years of great traditions at Tom's Cove Campground on Chincoteague. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 7, 2008. We'll see you there!
