The Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce represents the business, professional, agricultural, seafood, tourism, and community interests that advance economic and civic well-being through private sector enterprise.
Specifically, the Chamber's mission is as follows:

To represent the business, professional, agricultural, seafood, tourism, and
    community interests that advance well-being.

To preserve and promote the free enterprise system.

To participate in activities in both Accomack and Northampton Counties by     providing support for programs which are appropriate, while encouraging
    member participation.

To be constructive advocate in assisting all levels of government by maintaining
    an open exchange of ideas and information.

To create jobs through industrial and economic development, by working with
    existing business and by seeking new business and industrial opportunities

To promote and publicize the tourism resources.

To work to improve the overall business climate for members through
    sponsorship of programs which stimulate economic growth, promote civic
    development and enhanced political action.

To be a beacon to which members and the community look as programs,
    activities, and services are conducted.

 To serve as an investment for the future of Virginia's Eastern Shore.
